Dr. Urban graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle, Illinois. He attended medical school at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, graduating in 1983. Dr. Urban then performed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was Chief Resident 1986- 1987. He performed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology, Computed Tomography, and Ultrasound at Northwestern Memorial, where he gained valuable experience with a full range of vascular procedures including angioplasty, pulmonary angiography and venography, as well as non-vascular procedures such as percutaneous biliary and urologic drainage and abscess management. Dr. Urban also performs minimally invasive treatment for peripheral venous disease at the Freeport Memorial Hospital Vein Clinic. Dr. Urban is on staff at Freeport Memorial Hospital
and Rochelle Community Hospital.
