MARTIN URBAN, M.D.
Dr. Urban graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle, Illinois. He attended medical school at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, graduating in 1983. Dr. Urban then performed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was Chief Resident 1986- 1987. He performed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology, Computed Tomography, and Ultrasound at Northwestern Memorial, where he gained valuable experience with a full range of vascular procedures including angioplasty, pulmonary angiography and venography, as well as non-vascular procedures such as percutaneous biliary and urologic drainage and abscess management. Dr. Urban also performs minimally invasive treatment for peripheral venous disease at the Freeport Memorial Hospital Vein Clinic. Dr. Urban is on staff at Freeport Memorial Hospital and Rochelle Community Hospital.
STEVEN BACH, D.O.
Dr. Bach was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois where he and his family still reside. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Northern Illinois University. He then completed medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2006. Dr. Bach completed his internship at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan. He then completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Michigan State University/Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan from 2007-2011. Dr. Bach went on to complete a Body Imaging Fellowship from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan from 2011-2012 with a focus on cross sectional intervention, body MR, ultrasound, CT, cardiovascular imaging, PET CT, and breast imaging. Following completion of fellowship training, Dr. Bach returned to his home town and joined Camelot Radiology in 2012.
ROBERT PIERCE, M.D.
Dr. Pierce received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1960 from the University of Idaho. He then completed medical school at the University of Chicago, graduating in 1964. Dr. Pierce completed his Internship at U.S.P.H.S. Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts from 1964-1965. He then performed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Chicago from 1965-1967. He also completed Residency at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland from 1967-1969. Dr. Pierce was the President of the Medical Staff for St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford, Illinois in 1984. He was then Chief of Staff of St. Anthony's from 1985-1988. Dr. Pierce has been a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners in 1965, a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology in 1969, legislative Editor of the Northern IL Medical Journal from 1971-1973, a clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Rockford School of Medicine from 1971-present, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine in 1975. Dr. Pierce has been published in various journals and co-wrote a book on the Anatomy of the Newborn Skull.
BRUCE Cardone, M.D., RVT, RPHS
Dr. Cardone is board-certified Radiologist and a Diplomate of the American College of Phlebology. He is Fellowship trained in US/CT/MRI, and is a seasoned, well trained interventional Radiologist. His expertise includes the utilization of laser, microphlebectomy and sclerotherapy in the treatment of varicose vein disease. He studied general surgery at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ and then completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL. He then moved to Milwaukee where he completed a Fellowship in US/CT/MRI at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He was formerly the medical director of Radiology at both St. Francis and St. Michael's Hospitals. He has also been owner and medical director of several diagnostic imaging facilities.
