Dr. McConnell grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1998. He moved to the Chicago area and worked in the medical device industry as a Microbiologist while earning his Master of Science degree at Roosevelt University in 2006. He subsequently attended Medical School at the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2010. Dr. McConnell completed a preliminary medicine internship at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois followed by a Radiology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He then completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Most recently Dr. McConnell has completed training in platelet rich plasma injections and adult regenerative cell therapy.
